Where to start
Every Custom Build starts with Discovery. It is the only commitment required to get a fully costed build plan, and it is a small, fixed-scope engagement in its own right. You come out of Discovery with a PRD, a technical handover doc, a scope pack, and a costed plan you can act on, whether you build with us or not. We share Discovery scope and all pricing on the discovery call.
What's included
- ?PRD and architecture documentation.
- ?QA, test coverage, and security review aligned with OWASP guidance, with internal controls informed by ISO 27001 principles. Solyntra is not currently ISO 27001 certified.
- ?Managed-device delivery: every engineer touches your code from a locked-down laptop with no local administrator rights, role-based repository access, and full revocation on engagement end.
- ?Production deployment to your cloud account (AWS preferred, Azure on request).
- ?Handover documentation and training.
- ?30-day post-go-live bug-fix window.
What's not included
- -Cloud infrastructure costs (you pay your AWS or Azure account directly).
- -Third-party SaaS subscriptions (you pay directly, Bring-Your-Own-Key principle).
- -Compliance certification (we build to specification; certification is your process).
Why fixed-phase, not "agile open-ended"
Open-ended agile contracts work when both sides have unlimited budget and infinite trust. Most clients have neither. Fixed phases give you a fixed price, a fixed scope, and a defined go-live date. If scope changes, we issue a change order. No silent overruns.
A note for regulated and audit-relevant builds
If your software needs to support an audit, a regulator filing, or evidence retention for compliance (financial services, AML/CTF, KYC, healthcare data, legal evidence handling), we build that into Discovery as a deliverable. Evidence-schema design, audit-log retention, human-in-the-loop on consequential actions. Same engagement model, no premium. We have built and operate one of these systems in production already.
